At the end of September, after much lobbying, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were allowed to be sold in China. The phones are due to hit the Chinese market, the largest smartphone market in the world, by the end of this month. The good news is that 36 more countries are going to sell the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus by the end of October.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are Coming to 36 More Countries
By the end of October, the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available in 36 more countries, bringing the total to 69 countries. By the end of the year, more than 115 countries around the world are expected to have the new iPhones on sale.
The good news that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are coming to 36 more countries comes just ahead of the new Apple media event that is going to take place on October 16 at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California. During the event the tech giant will unveil the new iPad Air 2, new Mac computers and a new operating system, the OS X Yosemite.
On October 17, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will come to China, India and Monaco. On October 23, the smartphones will be available in Israel and a day later, on October 24, in the Czech Republic, French West Indies, Greenland, Malta, Poland, Reunion Island and South Africa. On October 30, Bahrain and Kuwait will have the new Apple smartphones and on October 31 countries from Europe and Asia will have the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on sale (Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Guam, Hungary, Iceland, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macau, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, South Korea, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Thailand).
